For those who don’t know what Hard Drive is, it’s a satirical video game website that pokes fun at the latest happenings in the video game industry. It’s safe to say that you should never take their articles seriously nor stir the hornet’s nest, for that matter. But, for some reason, Musk, the richest guy in the world, decided that he could take on Hard Drive. The result? Pure and unadulterated “emotional damage!”.

— Hard Drive (@HardDriveMag) May 30, 2022 The feud started when the soon-to-be Twitter owner started stealing jokes and images off of Hard Drive in a series of since-deleted tweets. The sensible thing to do after a ruthless site calls you out is to apologize and say thanks. Instead, Musk responded, and responded, and responded, which Hard Drive countered by publishing another article titled, “Elon Musk Admits He Wants To Travel To Mars Because No One Hates Him There Yet.” Not one to back down, Musk replied and said that the article is “less funny than SNL on a bad day,” which was more than enough fodder for Hard Drive to beat the already-dead horse. According to Hard Drive, Musk is an “expert on SNL’s bad days”, sharing an image of Musk dressed as Wario in an SNL appearance. That should have been enough enough to end the feud. Unfortunately, Musk proceeded to just delete his initial tweet, without acknowledging anything.
