Mona’s Talents
Ripple of Fate
Ripple of Fate is Mona’s normal and charged attack. She can perform up to four consecutive hydro splash damage on enemies. Holding her attack will consume stamina, dealing Hydro damage to enemies surrounding her.
Mirror Reflection of Doom
Mirror Reflection of Doom is Mona’s Elemental Skill, and using this skill will create an Illusory Phantom. The Phantom will attract and taunt nearby enemies, making it a great decoy. Enemies near the phantom will also receive constant Hydro damage, and once the duration of the Phantom ends, it will explode, dealing huge Hydro damage to the surrounding area. If you hold this elemental skill, you will perform a backward jump before placing the Illusory Phantom.
Stellaris Phantasm
Stellaris Phantasm is Mona’s, Elemental Burst. Using this skill will apply the Hydro element on a huge AoE and creates an Illusory Bubble. Any weaker enemy will be immobile while in this Illusory Bubble. The enemies trapped in the bubble will also receive constant Hydro damage. The elemental burst will also apply the effect called Omen on enemies. Omen will increase the damage taken by enemies and removing the Illusory Bubble by attacking it or using an Elemental Skill will deal huge Hydro Elemental Damage.
Illusory Torrent
Instead of sprinting normally, using Mona’s sprint will allow her to use Hydro elements, going underneath the surface and moving rapidly. Using this skill on water surfaces will allow Mona to sprint faster. Once Mona gets out of the ground, she will also apply the Hydro element to her enemies.
Come ’n’ Get Me, Hag!
This passive skill is unlocked on Ascension Phase 1. Mona will create a Phantom when she uses her Elemental Burst without using any energy. However, this phantom will only last for 2 seconds and will deal 50% Hydro damage on Explosion.
Waterborne Destiny
Waterborne Destiny is a passive that is unlocked on Ascension Phase 4. This passive increases Mona’s Hydro damage bonus based on 20% of her Energy Recharge rate.
Principium of Astrology
Principium of Astrology is Mona’s utility skill. Whenever she crafts Weapon Ascension Materials, she has a 25% chance to refund the materials you used.

Team Compositions
Melt-Vapor Team
The Melt-Vapor Team utilizes Mona’s damage amplification to get the most damage your main DPS can offer. Your main DPS would be any Pyro DPS characters like Klee, Diluc, Hu Tao, or even Yanfei. Your sub-DPS will be Ganyu, because her Elemental skill and burst can apply the Cryo element on enemies, setting up for a freeze or melt reaction. Lastly, you can add Bennett to the team for the Pyro resonance and his healing ability.
Elemental Reaction Team
This Elemental Reaction team utilizes Mona as the Main DPS. Fischl will act as a battery and sub-DPS. You can then add Sucrose for the Swirl Elemental Reaction. Bennett is a good Pyro support and healer for the team, but you can also use Qiqi instead for a Freeze and Superconduct reaction. You can also swap out Sucrose with a Pyro character like Klee or Xiangling, for more damage output.
Free-to-Play Team
A free-to-play team for Mona would consist of Xiangling, Amber, and Barbara. Xiangling and Amber will act as the DPS, activating the Pyro resonance which increases your attack by 25%. Barabara will act as your healer, and having 2 Hydro characters in your team will amplify the healing you receive by 30% because of the Hydro resonance effect called Soothing Waters.
Summary
Mona is one of the best enabler characters in Genshin Impact. She can amplify the damage output of your team and constantly apply for the “Wet” status on your enemies. Any weaker opponent will also be immediately immobilized when she uses her Elemental Burst. Mona is also a great character to use when Exploring the world because her sprint ability allows her to move rapidly underwater.
