Resident Evil is one of the most popular games in the horror genre, and Capcom is looking to expand the available platforms for one of its most loved franchises. During Nintendo Direct, in collaboration with Capcom, Nintendo announced that the recent installments of the Resident Evil franchise are coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. The games will be available for Switch via the cloud service. The most notable games coming to Switch include Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 2 remake, Resident Evil 3 remake, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Moreover, Nintendo and Capcom also confirmed that the Winters’ Expansion pack for Resident Evil Village would be available for Switch on December 2, 2022. The expansion will be available for other platforms on October 28, 2022. While the cloud demo of Resident Evil Village is already available ahead of its release on October 28, 2022, we don’t have a confirmation for the release date of the cloud versions of Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes and Resident Evil 7.
