Just like last month (and pretty much the entire last year), Dealslab has dropped the details about the next set of PS Plus games ahead of the official announcement. According to the retailer, next month’s PS Plus lineup includes FIFA 2022, Curse of the Dead Gods, and Tribes of Midgard. FIFA 22 is an excellent addition. Many fans believe that the latest installment in EA’s long-running football sim is one of the best iterations yet. Of course, as is always the case with these types of games, most players who would have loved FIFA 22 probably own a copy already. But, if you’re one of the few soccer fans who didn’t buy FIFA 22 last year, this is a great way to buy time while waiting for EA to drop FIFA 2023 later this year. While FIFA 22 is easily the highlight of the May lineup, you’ll want to pay attention to the other offerings. Joining EA’s latest soccer game are Tribes of Midgard and Curse of the Dead Gods. Both isometric indie titles have roguelike elements albeit the former is a more co-op-oriented affair with survival elements. On the other hand, the latter is a traditional action-roguelike that didn’t get much mainstream attention last year. For the Asia and Japan markets, the upcoming batch of free PS Plus games is the last before the retooled PS Plus subscription launches for subscribers living in the said regions in late May. Sony confirmed a few days ago that PS Plus will roll out to other countries first before its last stop in Europe on June 22.
