Fast forward to today and gamers are wondering why another interesting piece of hardware can be prominently seen behind the Microsoft Gaming head. In a post congratulating Bethesda Softworks for Fallout’s 25th anniversary, Spencer showed off the Vault Boy statue on his shelf at his office. Although it was a nice sentiment, fans saw the peculiar-looking hardware on the top shelf. The white box with the Xbox logo on it isn’t like any console. Also, if this doesn’t confirm that it’s one of Xbox’s in-development pieces of hardware, the official Xbox Twitter account replied to the tweet, saying, “Now what did we say about putting old prototypes on your shelf boss.”

— Xbox (@Xbox) October 10, 2022 The unnamed device could certainly be the Xbox Keystone. If true, this implies that Xbox is preparing to launch the hardware soon. According to the rumors, the Xbox Keystone will have the following specifications:

Retails for $99 with a controller Capable of 4K HDR xCloud streaming (an upgrade to the xCloud at 1080p) Similar UI to Samsung 2022 TVs Supports Xbox Game Pass Remote play with Xbox

Cloud streaming is becoming more popular. The launch of Keystone will solidify Xbox as the go-to brand for cloud gaming devices. Not to mention, Keystone appears to be quite small, so you should find it easy to carry around. This year’s The Game Awards is only two months away, so we might get a release date for Keystone by then. Speaking of Spencer, you can spot a Logitech G Cloud on the shelf. Interestingly, the Switch gifted to Spencer by Doug Bowser is no longer present.
