Across many industries, there’s been a shift from these abuses being quietly and unquestioningly tolerated, accepted and even encouraged to them… still being tolerated, accepted and even encouraged, but no longer unquestioningly. More and more voices can be heard, more and more observers and victims speak out, even under threat of losing jobs or being blacklisted from entire industries. We’re a long, long way from solutions, but these things aren’t being swept under rugs anymore - no matter how hard Riot Games, Activision-Blizzard, Ubisoft and other game companies try....

Now, after releasing Crysis: Remastered Trilogy last year, it appears that Crytek sees the perfect opportunity to continue the series that put the studio on the map. According to an official teaser trailer from Crytek, Crysis 4 is in development. Unfortunately, the description suggests that the game is still in its very early stages. Don’t expect to see Crysis 4 teased again until 2023 if not 2024. But, from what we’ve seen so far, Crysis 4 will take place in an urban setting in a city destroyed by what looks like solar flares....

Is the Season 5 finale the last time we will see Lewis’ Axelrod? Before anything else - spoiler alert! Lewis’s character, Bobby Axelrod, has been front and center of Billions pretty much since the TV series premiered back in 2016. However, after locking horns with Chuck Roades for 60 episodes, everything finally came to a head in the long-delayed Season 5 finale as Axelrod had no choice but to strike a bargain with Corey Stoll’s Mike Prince and hide out in Switzerland just so that he can avoid prosecution....

In said post, the voice actor claims to have been hired by Rockstar Games to play the role of police chief Captain McClane in the “new Grand Theft Auto series”. When reached out to for further comment, Jackson claimed he does not yet know specific details of the project he is working on, but a trailer is coming ‘very soon’....

Headquartered in Leamington Spa, the UK-based triple-A development studio named Maverick Games isn’t short on renowned talent. Apart from being big Top Gun fans, the studio is constructed from its Playground Games foundation as well as some well-known names. Forza Horizon 5 creative director Mike Brown is leading the charge with the help of former Sumo Digital co-studio head Harinder Sangha, who will be the chief operating officer at Maverick Games....

Diablo Immortal enjoyed the biggest launch of any game in the Diablo series with over 10 million downloads within the first month of release. Blizzard originally released the game in June. By the end of July, the game had performed even better as it enjoyed over 30 million downloads at that point. In light of the amount it has grossed, the review bombing doesn’t seem to have had much impact on the game’s bottom line....

With the fourth phase of the MCU originally intended to launch in 2020, Disney had no choice but to push back the first film that would usher in the start of MCU’s next set of movies. However, it’s not as if this move didn’t pay off. Black Widow was the first MCU film to drop in years and it was met with both critical, as well as commercial acclaim. Scarlett Johansson’s MCU swan song holds an 81% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and broke pandemic box office records....

The report details that EA is also interested in a merger that will allow current CEO, Andrew Wilson, to “remain as chief executive of the combined company.” It’s not clear if EA is close to a purchase or consolidation. The report hinted that Electronic Arts had made good progress with NBCUniversal only for the deal to fall through. The two parties could not agree on the structure or price. Developer Midgar Studio confirmed that the RPG Edge of Eternity will be released in its definitive version later in 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. An earlier report confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi was getting its first trailer some time this week, and this is exactly what happened. One game that fans hoped to see to hear about is Fable. The upcoming game is a reboot of the video game series that was first released in 2004 and developed by the now-defunct Lionhead Studios. The reboot is being developed by Playground Games, makers of the Forza Horizon series. New reports suggest Microsoft’s internal policy is causing development issues for the new Fable game.
