A modder added Pokemon into League of Legends by converting the game’s newly-added jungle companions into Gen 1 starter Pokemon that evolve. The League gameplay remains the same as intended by Riot Games. The only difference is that the companions now look like Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur, as well as their respective final evolutions.

The new feature involves giving players a companion that helps them clear out the jungle. All the modder did was just reskin the default options and turn them into Pokemon. If this catches on, we wouldn’t be surprised if other starter Pokemons all made their way to League of Legends via the mod. After all, the modder went as far as to add sound effects on top of their likeness. Unfortunately, we’re pretty sure Nintendo won’t take this lightly. If nothing else, you might want to try out this “new” feature in League of Legends before Nintendo cracks down on it. Speaking of Pokemon, fans are bombing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with negative reviews. The latest mainline Pokemon installment isn’t performing well on the Nintendo Switch and it doesn’t look like a fix is coming anytime soon. Finally, for some good news, an NFL Pro just retired to pursue trading Pokemon cards full-time.
