WWE 2K22 already has an expansive roster filled with 163 wrestlers (168 if you bought the nWo 4-Life Edition), so it’s not like gamers are going to run out of options anytime soon. But, as if in a bid to retain the WWE license, 2K Sports is releasing must-buy DLC packs for WWE 2K22, available as individual packs or through a Season Pass. The first WWE 2K22 DLC, the Banzai Pack, will be available on April 26 and will add Yokozuna, Umaga, Rikishi, Omos, and Kacy Catanzaro to WWE 2K22. Then, three weeks later, Cactus Jack, The Boogeyman, Vader, Ilja Dragunov, and Indi Hartwell, are all coming to crash the party as part of the Most Wanted Pack. If you’ve been liking WWE 2K22 so far, these DLC packs are an excellent addition. Also, you might want to check which edition of WWE 2K22 you picked up as both the Digital Deluxe and nWo 4-Life editions all come with the Season Pass already. If you bought the pricier WWE 2K22 versions, all you’ve got to do is to sit back, relax, and wait for 2K Sports to release the DLC packs. If you’re still undecided with WWE 2K22, rest assured that it’s far from WWE 2K20. After skipping last year, Visual Concepts has redeemed itself with WWE 2K22. Although it’s still far from Yuke’s best WWE games, the latest WWE studio has found a way to make its mark on the long-running wrestling sports sim. Hopefully, WWE and 2K Sports will renew their contract for WWE 2K23 and beyond to give Visual Concepts more chances to refine future WWE 2K games such as by fleshing out the Showcase mode and Create-a-Story option.
