With that said, just like in previous Hitman titles part of the World of Assassination games, you can import your progress from Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 (2018) to Hitman 3. Scroll down below to learn how to play Hitman 1 and 2 levels in Hitman 3.

Is It Possible to Import Progress from Hitman 1 and 2 to Hitman 3

Yes. It is. It doesn’t matter what platform you are playing the games on. IO Interactive designed the Hitman games so that you can import your progress from previous titles to the latest release. This means that your progress from Hitman 1 and 2 will be available in Hitman 3. While it is possible regardless of which platform you’re playing the games on, how importing works isn’t the same across all systems.

Importing Progress to Hitman 3 on Consoles

It’s actually quite easy to import progress to Hitman 3 on any console. All you need to do is to go to the official Hitman website and start transferring data from Hitman 2 and 3. You’ll then be able to see all your progress from Hitman 2 carry over to Hitman 3, including everything from location mastery levels and unlocks, as well as challenge progress and unlocks, and so much more. Now, if you want to play Hitman 1 and 2 levels in Hitman 3, all you need to do is to make sure that Hitman 2 is installed on your console. Once you boot up Hitman 3, the game will automatically detect all the Hitman 2 levels you have access to. Just keep in mind that you can only transfer progress from similar platforms and that you can only do this once. You also won’t be able to transfer progress directly from Hitman 1 to Hitman 3. You’ll have to transfer progress from Hitman 1 to Hitman 2 first before importing your progress from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3. Lastly, any progress you make if you play Hitman 2 after importing your previous data will no longer carry over.

How to Import Progress to Hitman 3 on the PC

Importing progression from previous Hitman games to Hitman 3 on the PC is the same as on the consoles. Where the importing differs is accessing the maps or levels from Hitman 1 and 2 to Hitman 3. This is because Hitman 1 and 2 are part of the Access Pass system in Hitman, so you’ll need to own the right kind of Access Pass if you want to play particular levels from previous Hitman titles. For example, you’ll be able to claim the Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass only for 10 days following the launch of Hitman 3. But, if you already own Hitman 1 on the EGS platform, you’ll automatically have access to all Hitman levels in Hitman 3. IO Interactive claims that the process should be relatively the same for playing Hitman 2 levels in Hitman 3. This means that you should be able to import any Hitman 2 levels you already own to Hitman 3 for free. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible as of the moment yet on the PC, so we have no choice but to wait until IO Interactive puts the right system in place. — IO Interactive (@IOInteractive) January 17, 2021
