Already, we’ve seen Fortnite collaborate with numerous franchises over the past month alone. This includes, among many others, the classic sci-fi horror franchise Alien and Tron. While we’ve seen numerous characters from other universes make an appearance in Fortnite, the collaborations don’t often include multiple characters from the same universe on different occasions. This time around though, it looks like we’ll be getting multiple DC character skins in a separate bigger event.

The Batman and Fortnite Universe Are Set to Collide

DC and Epic Games recently confirmed that they’ll be working together for the six-issue limited comic series Zero Point. The said concept and story was reportedly the brainchild of Epic’s very own Donald Mustard, their Chief Creative Officer, and will feature Christos Gage (Spider-Geddon) as the scriptwriter. Meanwhile, the series will include art from numerous well-known artists. This includes, among others, Reilly Brown, Nelson DeCastro, Christian Duce, and John Kalisz. The said comics will also tie-in to a Fortnite in-game event of the same name wherein Dark Night, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn, will all find themselves in the Fortnite universe. The series will reportedly be canon and will help flesh out Fortnite’s growing mythology. It will reportedly feature a Batman struggling to remember his own identity. Then, in his quest to remember who he is and where he came from, he’ll also lend a hand in trying to solve the Zero Point.

When Is The Zero Point Comics Release Date?

Zero Point will start publication on April 20, 2021, with both digital and physical versions being made readily available. The following issues will ship out bi-weekly on May 4 and May 18, as well as June 1 and June 5, with the entire series concluding in a single issue on July 6, for a total of six issues. Players will be able to get their hands on each issue for $4.99 with a more expensive card stock variant cover version selling for $5.99.

Is The Exclusive Fortnite Batman Skin Confirmed?

Yes. It is. The tie-up event will reportedly incentivize players to go ahead and get themselves the print versions instead of the digital formats. This is because each print issue will come with a DLC code for an exclusive skin or item that can be redeemed in Fortnite. This includes an exclusive Fortnite Batman skin called Armored Batman Zero that’s available only for players who can buy all six physical versions of the series and obtain every code. Of course, that’s not all. Other skins will also be available. The first of which is the DC Rebirth Harley Quinn costume, which is an entirely new consume and separate from the Harley Quinn consume already made available in the past. DC Universe Infinite service subscribers will reportedly gain free access to the Zero Point comics and DLC codes.
