— Adrien Perea (@PereaAdrien) September 5, 2022 Looking at the tweets from the account, Adrien Perea appears to be credible. The info that he gave about Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the PC port for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection were all correct. The Twitter account of @PereaAdrien is relatively new and only joined in June 2022. It only has a few hundred followers as of writing. The user claims to cover the video game industry most likely as a journalist. Having Ghost of Tsushima released to PC in 2023 is similar to the time it took for God of War to be ported to PC. Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game follows the exploits of Jin Sakai, as he works to protect the island of Tsushima from the invading Mongol horde. The game was released on July 17, 2020, and sold 2.4 million copies in the first three days, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation IP debut ever. Ghost of Tsushima eventually became the platform’s best-selling game, with over 9.7 million copies sold as of July 2022. Ghost of Tsushima was well received by fans and critics. The game also won a number of awards mostly for its visuals and art direction. The most prestigious award it has won is the Grand Prize (Game of the Year) from the Japan Game Awards which it shared with Monster Hunter Rise. We’ve already received reports Sucker Punch is working on a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. A live-action film adaptation for Ghost of Tsushima is also currently in development. It will be directed by Chad Stahelski who also directed the John Wick movies. Stahelski reportedly wants to have an all-Japanese cast for the movie. Sony has been actively porting its first-party intellectual property to the PC in recent years. This move has been spearheaded by none other than Sony’s President Jim Ryan. In a 2021 interview, he mentioned his desire “to see a world where the games that we make at PlayStation can be enjoyed by many, many tens of millions of people, perhaps hundreds of millions of people.” AAA titles like God of War, Death Stranding, and Horizon Zero Dawn were successfully ported to the PC and sold well. More recently, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was announced as the latest IP to arrive on PC in October.
