Event Duration and Requirements
The Five Flushes Event will only last a couple of days, so be sure to participate in it before it is gone. Gameplay Duration: Version 1.3 release to February 10, 2021 Exchange Period: Version 1.3 release to February 13, 2021 To join the event, you must be Adventurer Rank 20 or above and you must complete Ji Tong’s quest called “Kurious Kamera”. The photo swapping and picture taking will be unavailable on the last three days of the event.
How to use the Kurious Kamera
To get the Kurious Kamera, claim it from the NPC called Ji Tong in the Liyue Harbor. You can find him on the map by looking for a camera icon. Afterward, you can equip the Kurious Kamera in the gadget section. Depending on the color requirement for the day, you will need to find the correct subject. While you’re standing in front of the correct subject, use your Kurious Kamera. Keep the subject at the center of the camera. When the subject is eligible, your Kurious Kamera will automatically scan and take a photo of the subject.
Starting the Quest
Before you can join the event, you have to go to an NPC called Ji Tong who is currently in Liyue Harbor. Talk to him and he will give you the Kurious Kamera. You can equip this in the Gadget Screen. Keep in mind that this is different from the camera that you have. After you equip it, you will need to take pictures of different items according to the day’s color requirement.
Red Items
The first day requires you to take a picture of Red Items. Take note that you can take pictures of the same kind of items but they have to be different subjects. You will have 10 films per day and need to use the Gadget button so you can enter the first-person mode. You need to keep your subject in the middle of your shot and the Kurious Kamera will automatically take a picture once the red object is recognized. The fastest way you can get all the red items for the day is to take pictures of all the Windwheel Aster next to the Statues of Seven. There are a lot of Windwheel Aster next to the Statue of Seven and every time you take a photo, you will receive a random colored photo. Below are some of the Red Items that you can find all around the map:

You can also teleport to Qingce Village and take a photo of the apples near the altar. You can also find Jueyun Chili Peppers in the Village which is considered a red item.
Blue Creatures
For the second day, you need to take a photo of Blue Creatures. The fastest way to get all 10 films is to go to the Peninsula NorthEast of Liyue. You can find a lot of Hydro Slimes in one spot, which is considered a Blue Creature. Both Hydro and Cryo Slimes are considered Blue Creatures so take a photo of those. There are other Blue Creatures you can find all over the map such as:

A tip when it comes to capturing the photo of blue creatures is to do it stealthily. If the monsters attack you, your camera will blur and you would not be able to take a photo. So keep your distance when it comes to taking photos.
Red Creatures
For the third day of the event, you need to take a photo of Red Creatures. There is a teleporter just north of Tianqiu Valley and teleporting to this location will give you seven Pyro Slimes. Remember to keep your distance so they won’t attack you. You can also teleport to the edge of Brightcrown Canyon to take a photo of two Red Hilichurls. Finally, you can teleport to the Northwest of Wolvendom for the last two Red Hilichurls. Below are the other Red Creatures you can find all over the map:

These are some of the red creatures that are eligible for the event. You can try to find other creatures and your Kurious Kamera will automatically take a picture if they are eligible.
Blue Items
For the fourth day, the game requires you to find Blue Items. You can find a lot of Glaze lilies on the upper part of Liyue. Other blue item options would be Mint and Lilies near the Qingce Village.

Yellow Items
For the fifth day, you need to take a photo of yellow items. You can teleport to the thousand winds temple to take a photo of yellow flowers. Snapdragons are also considered to be yellow items and can be found near the Windrise Statue of Seven.

Brown Creatures
For the sixth day, the required subject is Brown Creatures. Go to the west of the Brightcrown Canyon and you will find ten boars and squirrels. Timmie’s brown pigeons are also applicable for this subject.

Purple Creatures
For the final day of the event, the required subject is Purple Creatures. Go to Jueyun Karst and you will find seven electro slimes. You can also let the Cicin mage summon her flies and run away to take a photo of her and the flies.

Colored Photos and Trading
Whenever you take a photo of the eligible item or creature for the day’s color, you will receive a random colored photo. To claim the rewards, you need all five colors. The colors are:
Red Blue Yellow Brown Purple or Violet
Photo Swap
Because the colored photos you receive are random, you may find yourself having more colored photos of one color compared to the other. Go to the Events Overview and go to the Five Flushes of Fortune tab. Aside from Ji Tong’s Location, you will notice a button that says Photo Swap. Go ahead and click the Photo Swap Button. On the Photo Swap page, you will notice a ‘Gift’ and ‘Receive’ tab. You can gift your friends your excess colored photos and you can also receive the excess colored photos of your friends. You can complete your missing colored photos this way. Another way you can trade colored photos is by joining Genshin Impact discord communities and forums for more efficient trading.
Battle Pass Challenge
Aside from the in-game reward, you can also participate in the event to get battle pass points. People who have a Battle Pass can get 1200 battle pass points if they send or receive one colored photo in the Five Flushes of Fortune Event. Claiming 7 Fortune Troves in the event also gives you 1200 Battle Pass points.
Rewards
Once you have all the colored photos, you can go back to Ji Tong to claim your rewards. Talk to him and press Claim Fortune Trove. You can have a maximum of 50 unclaimed photos at one time. If you take another photo, your oldest unclaimed photo will be deleted. All unclaimed photos will also be deleted. After the event, you can talk to Ji Tong to get the Special Kamera permanently. miHoYo says that there will be more events that use this Kamera in the future. Below are the rewards for the colored photos:

You can claim the rewards a maximum of eight times. By participating in this event, you can get a total of 480 Primogems.

Five Flushes Event is one of Genshin Impact’s event for Version 1.3. You can start the event by going to Ji Tong in Liyue and claiming the “Kurious Kamera”. Equip the Kamera in the gadgets section and find subjects that are eligible according to the day’s color requirement. After taking a photo of the correct subject, you will receive a random colored photo. You would need to collect all colored photos to redeem rewards. You can also trade colored photos with your friends to complete your color requirements. Simply click on the event page and go to Photo Swap to trade with your friends. Each redemption will give you 60 Primogems and you can claim the rewards up to eight times, resulting in 480 Primogems. After the event, you can talk to Ji Tong to get the Special Kamera permanently.
