Now, we may have gotten an update about the next Deadpool film via Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively. The couple just announced they were having their fourth child. Mrs. Reynolds took to social media to share photos of her pregnancy. The post included a curious photo of her husband in what seems to be his Deadpool costume. The photo is of Blake Lively in a black floral dress standing next to Reynolds who’s wearing a Deadpool costume. The only reason why Reynolds would wear a Deadpool costume is if Deadpool 3 is in production already. Either that or Reynolds is set to make a cameo as the Merc with a Mouth in an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film. We have known for a while that Reynolds has been training to play the smart-talking mercenary Wade Wilson once again. His trainer has posted a photo of the Deadpool actor in the gym and seemingly already fit enough to once again don his mercenary outfit. When the word that Reynolds was in training got out, fans became extremely excited as it possibly means that the third movie will begin filming soon. Fans should be delighted to know that not only is Ryan Reynolds in the gym, but it seems he is already wearing his costume for the film. However, some have pointed out that the costume he is wearing is similar to the one he had in Deadpool 2. On closer inspection, it is indeed similar to his Deadpool 2 costume, which has patches of duct tape during the scene where his party fights Juggernaut and Firefist at the orphanage. The costume also seems worn out from a long battle. Fans have been suggesting that this is an old photo. However, the timeline doesn’t fit if this was taken in the past, as Blake Lively wasn’t pregnant at the time Deadpool 2 was filming. There are theories that Ryan Reynolds’s wearing a worn and tattered costume has something to do with his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is speculation that Deadpool 3 has secretly begun filming and involves some sort of flashback scene from Deadpool 2. It might be related to the scene where Cable had to use his time travel device to strap Vanessa’s token in front of Deadpool’s heart and save him in the process. The action may have altered the timelines thus also changing the course of the MCU. Speaking of timelines and Vanessa, Morena Baccarin recently commented on the prospect of her returning to Deadpool 3 by stating that Wade Wilson did alter the timeline to save her. Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy, who worked with Ryan Reynolds in the Adam Project and Free Guy. Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Reynolds will write the screenplay. Although it’s confirmed to be coming as part of the MCU, Deadpool 3 currently doesn’t appear in the Phase Five and Phase Six roadmap.
