If we were to hazard a guess, Infinity will be composed of multiple self-contained expansions set in highly-requested timelines and places.

According to multiple sources, Ubisoft intends to release Assassin’s Creed Infinity sometime in 2024. This means that Ubisoft should still release at least one more big Assassin’s Creed game until then. Of course, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, plans might change and the game could be delayed even further. Either way, what’s clear is that Infinity’s arrival is still a ways into the future. As for its platform, we don’t think that a next-gen console will release as early as then. It should be obvious that it is going to be exclusive to the Xbox Series S/X, PS5, and PC.
