However, as we’ve already mentioned, Insomniac Games, who are best known for making first-party Sony titles like the Ratchet & Clank series and Marvel’s Spider-Man, have yet to confirm that they’ve begun development in the game....

Now, Insomniac Games has officially confirmed that a true sequel is in the works and that it’s coming in 2023. Two Spider-Man are better than one With Insomniac Games busy working on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, no one expected the studio to announce a new game anytime soon. However, even if Insomniac had its hands full on the latest installment on the popular PlayStation-exclusive platformer franchise, several hints and details dropped throughout the year that suggested that the first-party Sony studio was working on multiple big titles for Sony at the same time....

In particular, fans are starting to wonder if the photo means that an Xbox and Nintendo partnership is currently in the works. Are Nintendo and Xbox Partnering for Something Big? Even if it’s someone of Phil Spencer’s position, seeing a competitor’s console in the background shouldn’t really cause that much of an uproar. The latest piece of Bloodborne intel comes from Elden Ring insider, Omnipotent. In a screenshot of his conversations on a ResetEra thread, Omnipotent claimed that FromSoftware isn’t working on Bloodborne at all. Specifically, Omnipotent claims that Dark Souls creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki, said that FromSoftware has no plans of returning to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The leaker also said that he’s “never come across anything being done with Bloodborne, even when actively seeking it out....

Following the recent events, there have been rumors that DC Studios’ co-CEOs plan to recast the entire cast of the DC Universe. Fans have termed it “Flashpoint” in reference to The Flash story arc where Barry Allen travels back in time and spawns an alternate timeline including new heroes. Gunn once again took to Twitter to address fans and shut down the rumors regarding the recasting of the entire DC lineup....

According to The Sun, Depp is doing a test shoot for a Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off in February. It’s unknown what kind of budget the unannounced project, A Day at the Sea, will have. But, we suppose it has to be worth more than a jar of dirt if it’s enough for Depp to reconsider. After all, despite all of the fans asking for him to come back, Depp famously said he’ll never don the get-up again....

It seems that Keanu Reeves is not taking a break from portraying the prolific assassin John Wick. Collider reported that the actor is in Prague for the filming of the spinoff movie Ballerina. The new film will star Ana de Armas with Reeves reprising his role as John Wick. It is not yet clear if Reeves will have a significant role in the film. Fans have been speculating that Wick will be playing the role of mentor to the younger assassin Rooney....

For example, just as Spider-Man: No Way Home was about to release in theaters, Crystal Dynamics finally added the web-crawler to the game’s list of playable characters. Now, it appears that Jane Foster is next on the menu. According to Miller, Lady Thor, Jane Foster’s superhero alter-ego, is coming to Marvel’s Avengers. Furthermore, the content will launch sometime between June to September to coincide with Thor: Love and Thunder’s theatrical release....

Fast forward to 2021 and it seems like Monolith Productions is ready to unveil their next Middle-Earth title. Is Middle-Earth 3 Confirmed? The unconfirmed Middle-Earth 3 title has been part of the rumor mill since Shadow of War came out. Further fueling the rumors have been the numerous job postings by Monolith Productions that have been sighted over the years. Among those listings is an opening for an Advanced Software Engineer, whose responsibilities include the implementation of the studio’s new Open World Pipeline, and an Advanced Technical Artist, who will create “brand new open worlds” using the Firebird engine, as well as a Senior World Artist with experience developing “triple-A open-world” titles, which appeared sometime between 2018 to 2019....

The sequel, M3GAN 2.0, will bring everyone back for a follow-up (at least, those who didn’t get unalived) that will hit movie theaters on January 17, 2025. Scribe, Akela Cooper, is coming back to write the script. It isn’t clear if Gerard Johnstone will return to direct the sequel but it’s safe to assume that producers, Jason Blum and James Wan, are on board as well. Hopefully, the success of M3GAN and Chucky on Syfy will help get the ball rolling on a doll-sized murder-filled crossover....

To celebrate the birthday of the late Stan Lee, Marvel Entertainment has announced a new documentary. Stan Lee: An Original Documentary celebrates the legacy of Lee and it will showcase the characters he created for Marvel Comics. The documentary’s tagline is “100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee.” The documentary will reportedly include some of the movie cameos of Lee. The writer has appeared in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, often in a humorous fashion....

In the official trailer for Mayans M.C. season 4, FX used atmosphere to set the tone for the show’s upcoming season, instead of specific clips and sequences. Specifically, the Mayans’ design scheme, a face superimposed with a skull, is front and center with a heavy focus on a brawl between the Sons of Anarchy and the Mayans to the tune of Heads Will Roll. FX’s Sons of Anarchy was one of the network’s top shows for most of its run from 2008 to 2014....

Sjunde AP-Fonden, a Swedish state-run pension fund, has sued the two parties and filed a 205-page complaint that accuses the two companies of collusion. According to Bloomberg Law, the lawsuit alleges billion-dollar deal was “rigged to exploit the beleaguered gaming giant’s sexual harassment crisis and protect its CEO,” following allegations of sexual harassment, employment discrimination, and retaliation on the part of Activision Blizzard. Moreover, the former and current members of the board, including CEO Bobby Kotick, are facing allegations of engineering an underpriced deal in exchange for terms that would see Kotick, who has been shrouded in controversy, remain CEO until the deal is complete....

This report comes from Axios and reaffirms the company’s moves to operate with a leaner workforce. Earlier in the year, Microsoft slowed down its hiring process for multiple divisions. Microsoft also gave about 1,800 employees their marching orders in July across several departments including consulting and customer solutions. While Microsoft corroborated the report, the company didn’t reveal how many it laid off or the departments affected. In a statement it released to address the situation, the company had this to say: Employee layoffs have become the norm rather than the exception this year as over 44,000 tech staff members have lost their jobs according to Crunchbase data....

If we believe the rumors, one of Bungie’s upcoming projects is a reboot of the sci-fi shooter series. According to Insider Gaming, Bungie’s Marathon reboot is already in a pre-alpha state and will turn the seminal shooter franchise into a squad-based, team-extraction-type multiplayer title. Jeff Grubb later corroborated the rumors, adding details that the game is a “free-to-play live service title” with “highly customizable” characters and is an “authentic Bungie FPS experience....

For the second straight year, a live-action adaptation of Capcom’s best-selling franchise is hitting the can. Deadline broke the news wherein it described the cancelation as “not entirely surprising”, adding that the eight-episode action-horror TV series “did not have a particularly strong showing on Netflix’s Top 10.” The same report points to the latest Resident Evil adaptation’s failure to make an impression following an “underwhelming 55% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 27% audience score....
