Disney has just broken the $4 billion mark with the release of Avatar: The Way of Water last weekend. The sequel to James Cameron’s 2009 box office chart topper earned $435 million in its first four days. Disney will retain the top studio ranking for the second straight year. Last year, Disney had a $2.9 billion coup at the box office revenue. The studio’s creative director, Ben Jones, recently joined the Product Builders Podcast where he talked about its latest project. Apparently, this new and unannounced IP has been in development for nearly five years (four and a half years, to be exact). Jones reveals that this is a large-scale project composed of a main team of 50 people, with roughly around 200 collaborating as well.
