During the Marvel panel at SDCC, Marvel Studios president and chief creative officer Kevin Feige laid down the Phase 5 and Phase 6 projects for the MCU. Similar to the conclusion of the Infinity Saga (which comprised Phases 1, 2, and 3), there will be a connecting thread to all Marvel Cinematic Universe films leading to a two-part finale. Referred to as The Multiverse Saga, the entire slate will conclude with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be in production at the same time....

Having said that, fans can rest easy now knowing that a fourth film is coming and it will see the gang of action icons back together along with an entirely new cast of fresh faces. What do we know of Expendables 4 so far? Earlier this year, there were rumors that a Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) spin-off was in the works, only for Sly to confirm that Expendables 4 was already in development....

Sony Pictures showed a highlight reel of all its upcoming projects at its recent CinemaCon panel. One of the films included in the showcase was Venom 3. Sony did not reveal anything else outside of confirming that the film exists, but we are pretty sure that Hardy is coming back to reprise his popular role with Andy Serkis possibly signing on once again to helm the project. Sony’s plans for its Spider-Man universe are off to a good if critically panned start....

Earlier on Wednesday, April 21, keen-eyed observers saw Sony leak by accident what could be their answer to Xbox Game Pass. What Is the PS Plus Video Pass? Sony has yet to officially confirm the name or the features of their new service. However, the video game news website, Video Games Chronicle, was quick to spot Sony uploading a new logo and page for a brand-new service they’ve dubbed as the PlayStation Plus Video Pass....

After confirming the incoming games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for the month, Sony backtracked by saying it “incorrectly announced” one game that it’s omitting from the lineup. The said title, Sayonara Wild Hearts, was meant to be available for download to those with active Extra-tier memberships on the 17th. But, this is no longer the case. Sony didn’t specify exactly why it’s removing the Simogo-developed game from the lineup but we presume it was supposed to be part of a later update....

In an earnings presentation, Take-Two laid out a hype-inducing list of planned launches for the current fiscal year and until 2025. The company separated the games into five different categories: Immersive Core, Independent, Mobile, Mid Core, and new iterations of previously unreleased titles. According to one of the slides, “Immersive Core” games are “titles that have the deepest gameplay and the most hours of content.” Among those listed by Take-Two as part of its biggest launches Take-Two’s are The Quarry, which will have nearly two hundred different endings, as well as Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which had a generous release window for the second half of 2022....
